If so, have you been round the Province visiting other Lodges, or are you just sitting tight in your own lodge, hoping that brothers will come to your raising on receipt of the invitation?
It will not happen Brother, go out and get yourself known, not only in your own Province, but also in other Provinces as well.
YOU have to make the effort, don't just reply on the written word.
People like to be able to put a face to a name, so go out and make yourself known.
A CALL TO DRIFTERS
You have drifted from our circle,
As hundreds more have done,
Enthusiasm waning,
You’re drifting one by one.
You once were young and eager,
To serve your Mother Lodge,
But now you’re all excuses,
Every meeting now you dodge.
Just pause and think a moment,
Don’t think I don’t mean you,
For you’re the one that drifted,
Won’t you make a start anew?
Remember what you promised,
When you gave your Buffalo word,
Ideals to you then sacred,
You’re heart it must have stirred.
But time has dulled the glamour,
You’ve let the old lodge go;
We want you back amongst us,
We plead! Don’t answer ‘No!’
