RAOB Club.......It's all change again!
After our recent change round in the club, moving the Lodges downstairs, and the clubroom upstairs, it's all change again. It was decided by the members and Lodges that they were not happy with the new arrangement, and found it hard to adapt.
So...after a whole lot of talking and a little bit of work, we have swapped it around again, and the Buffs are happilly back upstairs where they belong.
Downstairs has had a new coat of paint, a good clean, and is open for business as before.We have a new Social Secretary, Margaret Newport, who is getting things organised for the run-up to Christmas & New Year.
Don't forget we are open every Friday night with some fun entertainment and good music, covering everything from Bingo to Horse Raceing....It's good fun, why not give it a try?
Please keep your eye on the posters going up as there are many special nights running up to xmas....nights you do not want to miss. Keep your eye on this site as well because very soon it will be advertising all the Christmas & New Year entertainment.
Also, in case you did not know, the Christmas Raffle is already up and running....so buy your tickets behind the bar now for a chance at stacks of seasonal prizes just before Christmas.
Finally an appeal to you all! On Sat 8th December from 9am till 5pm, we will be holding a Xmas Bazaar & Open Day in the club, and we need any type of items for prizes, for sale, or for Santa to give away! All items from homemade jams, pickles, cakes, gift items, perfume,electrical items, in fact anything that we can sell to the public.
Just contact Del or Tracey Saunders, Margaret Newport, or Barbara Worsfold, and we will collect from you if you wish.
